Woodland Park Zoo will be holding a new event called WildLights from November 23rd through January 1st, 5:30-8:30 p.m. every night except for December 24th and 25th. The zoo anticipates that over the nearly 40 nights of the event, total attendance will be at least 50,000 guests, with hope that attendance will grow if the event continues annually. During WildLights, parking in zoo lots will be free Monday-Thursday nights and $5.25 on Friday-Sunday nights.
The Phinney Neighborhood Community Council (PRCC) hopes that this event will proceed smoothly, especially from the perspectives of the neighborhood and our neighborhood guests. As a public service, PRCC is collecting information regarding the safety, traffic, and parking impacts of WildLights. If you have information that you would like to share about your safety, traffic, or parking experiences in the neighborhood, either as a resident or as a visitor during the period of WildLights, please use the following form. No user information is collected with the form unless you volunteer it at the end of the survey. Please make a separate submission for each incident that you wish to report.
Thank you very much. We hope you will have a wonderful holiday season.
